Making chicken tenders at home is easy. It allows you the opportunity to customize them exactly how you like them, and giving them a kick is just a matter of adding some heat. These spicy chicken strips are excellent for any everyday meal. I marinated the chicken in spices and hot sauce get it them a spicy kick. Once marinated, the chicken strips are double-dipped in a seasoned flour mix to ensure a flavorful, crispy breading. DivineKuizine remoulade sauce will be the best condiment for these crispy spicy chicken wings. You will also need a deep fryer or a large pan for the stovetop. Really Easy but yummy for the whole family.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4-1/2 cup , such as Texas Pete or Frank's OR YOUR FAVORITE HOT SAUCE
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh thyme
2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
1/2 teaspoon season salt
2-3 cups; vegetable oil or peanut oil
For serving: DivineKuizine remoulade sauce
Season chicken tenders with all above spices, hot sauce and thyme.
In shallow bowl, mix flour, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper whisk. In another shallow bowl dredge chicken tenders in seasoned flour mixture.
In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot (350°F). Fry tenders in hot oil, all at once, about 5 minutes, turning once, until deep golden brown and no longer pink in center (at least 165°F). Place on rack lined with paper towels to drain, with paper towels underneath rack. Dip in DivineKuizine Remoulade sauce.
