This is a quick and easy pasta dish fresh tomatoes, shrimp and basil. My niece loves this dish!!!
Serves 4
1/2 - 1 pound Shrimp
2 tablespoon fresh basil
1 garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper flakes
1 tablespoon salt- season to taste
1 tablespoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup cream
1/4 cup red onions
1 can tomato sauce
1 Roma tomato, chopped
Handful of parmesan cheeses
Package of Linguine
Cook pasta according to package directions In a saucepan over medium heat sauté onions garlic in olive oil and butter. Add shrimp season with salt and pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook shrimp just until pink. Remove shrimp from pan. Add tomato sauce, cream simmer on low heat for about 2 minutes. Toss pasta, shrimp, fresh basil, and tomatoes in sauce Top with fresh basil and parmesan cheese.
