Unlocking the Flavors of Jerk Seasoning: From Steak to Pasta

Writer's picture: Shay Shay

Use your taste buds to jet away to a warmer locale: the vibrant and sun-kissed Caribbean. Imagine yourself on a sandy beach with the gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore, while savoring the flavors of a true culinary delight. Tender Jerk Steaks are marinated in the exquisite and aromatic DivineKuizine jerk seasoning, which infuses the meat with a rich, smoky flavor profile that is both spicy and savory. These steaks are perfectly paired with a delightful dish known as Jerk Pasta, which brings a unique twist to traditional pasta dishes. To create this enticing meal, start by tossing al dente penne pasta with a creamy jerk-infused sauce that elevates this Jamaican pasta dish to new heights. The creamy sauce is crafted from a harmonious blend of ingredients that work together to create a symphony of flavors, including the vibrant notes of colored bell peppers. In this version, the dish gets its signature spice from the DivineKuizine jerk rub/seasoning, which is expertly crafted to deliver an authentic taste of Jamaica right in your kitchen. The addition of bell peppers, serrano peppers, and red onions not only contributes a delightful texture but also adds a sweet crunch and brightness that perfectly balances the heat of the DivineKuizine jerk seasoning. To enhance the creaminess of the sauce, I have combined heavy cream with rich coconut milk, which adds a tropical flair and a velvety finish to the dish. This luscious combination results in a sauce that clings beautifully to the pasta, ensuring every bite is a burst of flavor that transports you to a Caribbean paradise.

This Caribbean inspired meal is a perfect for a weeknight meal, dinner party, or potluck.
