The Ingredients
The ingredients used to make these potato cakes are quite simple. You will need:
· 2 russet potato
· Cooked black rice
· 1-2 Jalapeno, minced
· 2 green onions, chopped
· 2 shredded carrots
· 1 tablespoon, grapeseed oil or olive oil
· Chopped parsley
· Salt
· pepper
· garlic powder
Directions:
Saute carrots, jalapeno, and green onions. cool set aside. Cook and mash your potatoes, cook black rice, (according to the package). Make sure all ingredients cool.
Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and season, shape the mixture into small patties.
Shape the patties, and shallow fry them in a frying pan until they’re golden and crispy. Drizzle with DivineKuizine remoulade sauce. Serve warm.
TIP
Make patties that are not too big. Big patties start to break and won’t easily cook through.
