Vegetarian Supreme Crunch Wrap

This Vegetarian Crunch wraps are so easy and delicious, even carnivores loves them! Vegetarian Crunchwrap Supreme is the meatless and tastier version of Taco bell's famous creation, crunchwrap supreme. Its a hexagon shaped grilled wrap filled with all the Mexican flavors. It is crunchy, chewy, soft and super delicious!! Each bite feels like a party in your mouth with so many different flavors and textures. You are going to love this promise!! I use some of DivineKuizine remoulade sauce as a sauce element delicious!!



INGREDIENTS

2 cup Cook Jasmine rice - prepare pre package directions

can black bean 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp. ground cumin Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 8 large whole wheat tortillas 4 corn tortillas 1 c. DivineKuizine remoulade sauce

1 chopped avocado

1/4 c. chopped red onion

1 chopped jalapeno

handful cilantro

1/2 of a lime 1 chopped tomato 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar 1 c. shredded Mozzarella 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, or grapeseed


DIRECTIONS

TO MAKE BLACK BEANS RICE FILLING:

Heat a can of black beans on medium heat add all spices to beans and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool beans completely. Add beans to cook rice. Add onions, jalapenos , tomatoes, and cilantro, limes juice and salt to season. Combine well.


Crispy Tortilla Shell

In a frying pan pour 2 tablespoons of oil and fry on 2 mins on both sides or make until crispy.


Assemble Crunch Wrap

Take you tortilla (you can warm it up if needed). We will be cooking this wrap later so this step is optional.

In the center of the tortilla spread the black bean rice filling about the size of the of the crispy tortilla shell.. Layer the DivineKuizine remoulade sauce on top of the corn tortilla followed by avocado, tomatoes and both cheeses.


Ready to Wrap

The idea here is to be able to make a hexagon wrap with all ends sealed so that filling is not exposed. Keep folding until its formed a hexagon like shape (about 6-7 folds). Press gently so they hold shape. The wrap folds may not stick at this point which is ok since they will when we cook it. - refer to video to see and example of folding wrap


Cook Wrap

Heat a skillet on medium heat some oil. Carefully transfer the crunchwrap seam side down on the hot pan. Cook for 1-2 mins until it golden brown and bottom is crispy and edges sealed. Now flip and cook the other side in same manner.

Use DivineKuizine remoulade sauce for dipping! Enjoy.
